I made this cute little card for my sister's Birthday! (Happy birthday Kim)!!! I used an image I received in a Canadian swap that I am participating in. This stamp is called "Coffee Riley". He's so adorable (even though he's not SU). I do need to work on colouring images and was a little rushed and multi-tasking when creating this card. I will be playing some more with this little guy I might even have to hunt down this stamp for myself (I know---I don't usually buy non-SU)! Do you like the pattern paper... I got it free! You can too if you place a $60.00 order from the new Stampin' Up catalogue. Contact me if you'd like more info about earning free Sale-a-bration products.

Little Leaves Gift Set
I finally got a chance to play with some of my new toys! I just love this little sizzlit from SU's new Spring/Summer catalogue. It is called 'Little Leaves' . It creates what I call a simple elegant look. The little box was made using SU's box # 2 die cut... Sooooo easy! Run it through the bigshot and it is cut and lines scored all at the same time. Just fold, assemble and decorate. It's the perfect size for a gift certificate, jewellery, or a few little chocolates. The little card is a 3x3 and would be perfect to add to a plate of baked goods or floral bouqet.

Botanical Blooms Birthday Card
I designed this birthday card for my sister. I used one of my new FREE sale-a-bration stamp sets called Botanical Blooms. I like the crispness of the black and white colour combination... but in this card it just didn't seem to work so I sponged some Stampin' Up 'Goinng Gray' ink over the white portions of the card. This is actually a very striking card for how quickly it can be put together. I will definitely be doing some more experimenting with this set!

Nathan's Valentine's
These are the Valentine's we created for Nathan's grade one classmates. The heart background was made using Tempting Turquoise paper and a Cuttlebug folder. We punched the hearts out of paper from my scrap basket using Stampin' Up's new heart punch and a heart punch from Martha Stewart. We used the slit punch on the edge to hold the card together like some store bought Valentine's do. The zigzag is a stamp that I got years ago (not sure what company its made by). Hope the kiddies like them-although I'm sure they'll be

Pink Pirouette Valentine
I made this special Valentine for my Demo Secret Sister who lives in BC. It is my Valentine's rendition of a card I did in a Christmas class this past December. I wanted to show how you can use the same dimensions and layout on a card and totally change it by switching out the colours and stamps used...Takes the thinking part out of making the card which is always the hardest part for me! This Valentine uses the 'Love You Much' stamp set and co-ordinating heart punch from Stampin' Up. I finished it off with a piece of Pink Pirouette striped ribbon and added a little shimmer to the hearts with a glitter pen!

Girl's Birthday Card
I'm going to try very hard to share more of my cards on my blog... here's my card for today! It's a girl's birthday card done up in tempting turqouise. I used a cuttlebug folder to do the embossed background and the 'All in the Family' stampset from Stampin Up. The scalloped ovals are made by using Nestabilities dies. I added a bit of bling by adding Dazzling diamond glitter around the edge of the pink cardstock!
